Privacy

Device first. Recordings, transcripts and preferences are written to this browser's private storage (IndexedDB) on the device you are using. Clearing site data or deleting the browser profile removes them permanently.

Cloud backup is opt-in. Nothing is copied to your private account unless you sign in and turn backup on. Signing in alone does not upload anything. You can turn backup off at any time in Settings.

Connected services. When you use connected transcription, the selected audio is sent to the configured transcription provider to produce your text. When you use premium read-back voices, the transcript text you choose to narrate is sent to the configured speech provider. These are the only cases where content leaves your device, and each one is an action you start.

On-device options. Live browser speech recognition and device read-back voices run locally where your browser supports them, and are used without contacting a provider.

Consent to record. Only record people who have agreed to be recorded. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction and are your responsibility.

Deletion. Deleting a session removes its transcript and its stored audio from this device, and from your account when backup is enabled.

This page is a starting point for the deployed product and can be customised with your own operator details, retention periods and contact address before public release.
